“Greater Love hath No Man than this, that a Man lay down his Life for his Friends”
LaVoy Finicum was One Cowboy who Stood for Freedom in the western United States. He was also a Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, Son, Friend, Rancher and Patriot. Now a rising folk hero in the State’s land rights struggle, he was killed by Federal and State law enforcement officers in Oregon on 26 January, 2016, one day before his 55th birthday. LaVoy died on his way to teach people about the Constitution and its principles that exist to protect land rights of Ranchers, Farmers and others affected by the overreach and corruption of our Governments in the affairs of and against the unalienable rights of the People of the United States. Two Oregon State Senators called the men with LaVoy and their message, “A Virus that had to be Stopped.”
Realize that the video starts after the "Traffic Stop" had proceeded for a few minutes already. The first thing the right front seat passenger (Ryan Payne) did was stick his head out the window to talk to the men who had stopped them. When he did this, Oregon State Police shot at him and hit the passenger mirror. Ryan Payne then exited the vehicle and LaVoy didn't see him again. LaVoy likely feared, as other of his passengers feared, that the OSP would shoot again. This could be why he told OSP, "We're going to see the Sheriff, You just come along with us," meaning Sheriff Palmer of the next County who was expecting the Patriots in John Day, Oregon. OSP had NO WARRANT and they did Not identify themselves before they shot at LaVoy's truck. OSP continued to train lasers on LaVoy.
Grant County is a UN-FREE Zone. The Ambush Roadblock set up in a “Cell phone-Free Zone” on Highway 395 that day was one mile south of the Grant County boundary line. It is likely the FBI did Not want LaVoy to make it to a UN-FREE Zone where the FBI would have questionable jurisdiction for their operation and where a (probable) “Constitutional” Sheriff was waiting for the Patriots. Harney County is NOT a UN-FREE Zone.
